iPod Nano To Come With Wi-Fi Capabilities

Earlier today we told you about a Japanese blog claiming that Apple would name the 7 inch iPad as ‘iPad Mini‘. While the blog reported about the new tablet, they also added about the iPod nano. So we did some more research about it. They blog also says that the next gen iPod Nano’s will have Wifi capability which sounds quite decent. the Wifi connectivity will allow users to enable iTunes for Cloud support. This feature would indeed be very useful for utilizing todays technology, where everything is engineered to work wirelessly.

According to The Japanese Blog
“Next iPod nano may equip Wi-Fi antenna on side of that case, and support iTunes Music Cloud in order Apple to provide a iconic product to promote the largest Music Store in the world.”

The Wifi technology would also allow users to re-download songs back to iPod from iTunes. The new generation iPod Nano may look rectangular like the 5th and 4th generation iPod Nano’s and could possibly come with a the Apple’s signature Home Button similar to the one found on an iPhone or an iPad. It’s still not confirmed that Apple will introduce the next-gen iPod nano at the rumored ‘iPhone 5’ media event on  September 12 or at the iPad mini event in October, till then fingers crossed.
