Google Chrome To Drop Mac OSX 10.5 Support
Years back when Google Chrome was first launched it took over all its competitors including Mozilla and Internet Explorer and has made its position strong for days to come. Apple Developers have almost finished the Mac OSX 10.8 which will be named as The Mountain Lion when its released this fall. with even more advanced features. Google yesterday said that its Web browser Chrome will no more support OS X 10.5, that is Leopard.
Mac OSX Leopard was the Big thing when it was launched back in 2007 same as the Upcoming Mountain Lion today, But as they everything has an expiry date. Jason Kersey team member of Google Chrome wrote in a blog post “Please note, on Mac we now require 10.6 or higher, and this release will not be available if you are on 10.5 or lower,” you can visit the post to read more. Google recently launched Chrome for iOS which is just awesome, i already have it on my iPhone’s dashboard. The second big announcement was the release of Chrome21 Beta there are very rare people who are still using Leopard so that wont be a big apple for the iLife Community.
