Apple iPhone 6S Plus vs. Google Huawei Nexus 6P
The recently unveiled Google Huawei Nexus 6P is one hell of a device in all aspects and will offer stuff competition to the Apple flagship iPhone 6S Plus. If you’re considering to sell your iPhone and looking for an Android device, the Nexus 6P would be a very good choice. So let’s go through a comparison for the two devices.
Both the devices are almost identical in size with the Nexus 6P measuring a tiny bit bigger. Both boast of premium metal bodies. While the Nexus 6P has a bump on the back which houses the camera, the iPhone has no such bump and offers a sleeker look.
The Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7 inch display with a 1440 X 2560 resolution while the Apple flagship boasts of a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080p which gives the Nexus an edge I’ve iPhone. The iPhone however boasts of 3D touch which is nowhere to be seen on its competitor.
The Nexus 6P is powered by a Quad-Core Cortex-A53 or a Quad-Core Cortex-A57 paired with 3GB of RAM. For handling graphics you have the Adreno 430 GPU. Talking about the iPhone 6S Plus, we have the Apple A9 chip and the M9 chip paired with 2 GB of RAM which again gives the Nexus an edge over the iPhone 6S Plus.
Talking about the cameras, both the devices feature almost similar resolution cameras on the back. The Nexus 6P has a 12.3 MP camera while the iPhone boasts of a 12MP iSight camera. Both the cameras capture videos and pictures of similar quality. Both these devices are also capable of recording 4K videos at 30FPS and slow motion videos at 240 FPS at 720p quality. When it comes to front cameras, the Nexus 6P wins the battle at 8 MP pitched against the 5 MP camera on the iPhone 6S Plus.
The Nexus 6P comes in a whole lot cheaper at Rs. 39,999 for the 32 GB variant and Rs. 42,999 for the 64 GB variant. The iPhone 6S Plus on the other hand costs you Rs. 72,000, Rs. 82,000 and Rs. 92,000 for the 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variant respectively.
Verdict: Both the devices are easily capable but the Nexus 6P clearly emerges as the winner on paper. And when you consider the price, there are no second thoughts. You can sell your iPhone 6S Plus and get two Nexus 6P smartphones and still save some money.
